GameSpyDaily has posted some more beautiful pics of Planetside. This game takes some huge jumps everytime I see it.

Planetside has been dubbed a MMOFPS. Took me a second on that, but since MMORPG mean “Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game” (a’la Everquest or Anarchy Online), then that would make Planetside a “Massive Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter”. First time I’ve heard that, but it won’t be the last.
Planetside is currently planned for PC only, but since the PS2 will be getting it’s network adapter, hard drive, mouse, and keyboard later this year, and since the game is made by Sony, I would imagine a separate version or a compatable version allowing PS2 players to play PC players will be along soon.
