Very cool little video up in the Land of Glutnix. He posted an update with a “spoof” video done by a guy juggling 5 instead of 3, but I agree with most of the posters on YouTube – it isn’t the act of juggling that is well done, it is the choreography and timing with the music.

A great little Flickr stream dealing with Transparent Screen, the art of taking a photograph of your computer’s surroundings, without the computer, then replacing the computer, using the photo taken as a wallpaper, creating an almost artificial looking effect. I’d consider if it there wasn’t just a blue wall behind my screen

Interesting little read on the history of the plumber from Nintendo over at NFG Games. No mention of the 3D incarnations of Mario, but it does give a little history, including the reasoning for the mustache, hat, and gloves.

Mario’s basic look was because of limitations of the video game systems, not because that is the way they wanted him to look per se.

Artist creates eyeglasses that bolt to the nose

HoustonChronicle.com has an interesting article about an artist who has taken his piercing through the bridge of his nose and converted it to hold his eyeglasses.

It sort of looks like the glasses that Morpheus wears in The Matrix. They sort of float on your face by attaching to your nose, instead of requiring the ear “hooks”. It appears to be normal set of glasses, but something doesn’t look quite right. Once you figure it out, the whole “cool” factor comes into play.
